Earl Thomas Marshall III, lovingly known as PJ (Pudding Jr.), was pure joy in human form. Born April 7, 1986, and raised in Princess Anne, Maryland, PJ had a smile that lit up rooms and a personality that made people feel instantly at home. At Washington High School, he was known as “Mr. Popular”—charming, funny, stylish, and genuinely kind. People were drawn to him because he carried light wherever he went.

PJ was an up-and-coming artist known throughout the Eastern Shore, admired not only for his creativity but for the energy he brought to every space. He had an easy laugh, a natural confidence, and a way of making ordinary moments feel special. Friends remember him for his humor, his presence, and the way he could turn any gathering into a good time.

Above everything else, PJ was a proud and devoted father. His daughters, Samiyah and Aaliyah Marshall, were his heart. He adored them and took deep pride in being their dad, pouring love, protection, and joy into every moment they shared.

PJ was the son of Earl Thomas Marshall, Jr. and Victoria White-Davis (Robert) and shared close bonds with his siblings—Jamar Brown, Aaron Marshall, Ebony Marshall, Tiffany Allen, Nakia Banks (Brandon), and Ke’Andra Davis Lemon (Eddie). Family, laughter, and connection were at the center of his life.

Though his time here was far too short, PJ’s spirit remains very present—in his children, in his art, in the stories people still tell, and in the smiles that come whenever his name is spoken. His joy didn’t leave; it multiplied.

Family was everything to him. One of my favorite memories is letting him and my brother take my new car to OC… they brought it back with a bent rim. He didn’t just fix it—he came back with four new rims. That was PJ.
